Abstract
At present, community life, the space of interaction with otherness (people,
animals, plants, life in general) is increasingly being considered less, on the
contrary, individual values that produce ways of being and living are
prioritized. be in society, which generally promote individuality, isolation, or the
false protection of identity (Matarrita, Schiavo and Ventura, 2016). In this way,
it is promoted to annul what is different, with this power relations that are
characterized by exclusion, oppression, inequality, destruction of the planet,
among others, are generated and strengthened.
The educational system does not escape the aforementioned reality;
therefore, it tends to be violent, prioritizing economic value over the essence
of life, consequently, an industrialized, consumerist, institutionalized, massive
and authoritarian pedagogical mediation develops (Gutiérrez and Prieto,
2002). This calls us to think of alternative ways to mediate learning, one of these
is the promotion of solidarity.
