Problematizing Speaking Anxiety in Language Learning Settings

Resumen

El objetivo de este artículo es problematizar la ansiedad al hablar para tener una comprensión sólida de esta situación y sus posibles implicaciones dentro de los contextos de aprendizaje de idiomas. Otro propósito es explorar la literatura sobre las estrategias utilizadas por los estudiantes para manejar la ansiedad al hablar. Asimismo, el artículo pretende ofrecer un panorama general de dicho fenómeno dentro del campo. Consta de siete secciones que contienen consideraciones e ideas relevantes. El estudio adopto una metodología exploratoria que incluyo una revisión sistemática de la información sobre el fenómeno. Además, se ofrece una discusión exhaustiva para sintetizar y evaluar los conceptos e implicaciones más destacadas. La conclusión principal establece que la ansiedad al hablar es un problema significativo que afecta el desempeño de los estudiantes en entornos de aprendizaje de idiomas.
