Panorama Global da Pesquisa sobre Hidrogéis de Nanocelulose: Uma Análise Bibliométrica até 2023

Resumo
Este estudo apresenta uma análise bibliométrica sobre hidrogéis de nanocelulose com o objetivo de avaliar o impacto das publicações, autores e países vinculados ao tema, bem como identificar as principais linhas de pesquisa e as áreas com menor desenvolvimento. A busca sistemática foi realizada na base de dados Scopus até novembro de 2023 e foi processada por meio dos softwares VOSviewer 1.6.17 (Universidade de Leiden, Países Baixos) e VantagePoint 15.2.
Os registros mais antigos datam de 1888 e permitem reconhecer três gerações de hidrogéis: (i) estudos centrados na retenção de água e na resistência mecânica, (ii) aplicações em administração de fármacos e uso biomédico e (iii) materiais avançados baseados em interações físicas ou químicas para formar matrizes tridimensionais complexas.
O ano de 2023 apresentou o maior número de publicações, principalmente nas áreas de ciência dos materiais, química e engenharia, destacando-se a China como o país com a maior produção científica. Apesar do interesse histórico e recente, observa-se que os hidrogéis de terceira geração aplicados às ciências ambientais ainda são pouco explorados, o que representa uma oportunidade de pesquisa.
