Self-archiving policy

1. General approach

The journal adopts an open science model. It allows the deposit of preprints and postprints with no fees for authors or readers, ensuring the integrity of the peer review process and the version of record.

2. Definitions

  • Preprint: manuscript version prior to peer review.
  • Postprint (AAM): accepted manuscript after peer review, without editorial layout.
  • Version of Record (VoR): final published version.

3. Preprint policy

  • Preprint deposit is allowed without restrictions.
  • It is not considered prior publication.
  • Authors must declare repository and persistent link (DOI/handle).
  • Preprints may remain public during peer review.
  • After publication, authors must update the preprint with citation, DOI, and link to the final version.

4. Postprint policy (AAM)

  • Deposit is allowed immediately after acceptance.
  • No embargo periods apply.
  • Must include full citation, DOI, and link to the journal.
  • Must indicate it is the accepted manuscript version.

5. Version of Record

The published version is the official version and should be used for citation.

6. Licensing

Articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International. Authors must ensure compatibility with preprint licensing.
