Based on Costa Rica’s Law No. 6683 on Copyright and Related Rights and in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), authors who publish in this journal fully retain the moral rights over their works, as established by Law No. 6683.

By submitting their manuscripts and having them accepted for publication, authors authorize the journal to disseminate their articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, which allows third parties to share the content free of charge, provided that authorship is properly acknowledged, the work is not used for commercial purposes, and no modifications are made, while maintaining the same license.

This non-exclusive transfer of rights does not limit the authors’ ability to reuse their work in other contexts, as long as the integrity of the content is respected and the original publication in this journal is cited.
