Abstract
The text is a comment to a work written by Professor Olga Echeverría Murray, "Philipp Johann Joseph Valentini: Nineteenth-century Intellectual" published by the EUNED 2019 publishing house. The elements that in our opinion are relevant to highlight in an interesting reading book are addressed. and close, rich in substantive information referring to the socio-historical context of Costa Rica and the region, in which Mr. Valentini developed his research and lived for several years. People are invited to read the book and enjoy it.
