About the Journal
The word Arjé, of Greek origin (archê), means principle, origin, or foundation, and has been used throughout the history of philosophical thought to designate that which gives rise or support to all that exists. In our journal, Arjé represents the constant search for the foundations of knowledge in our thematic areas.
The Arjé Academic Journal belongs to the Pedagogical Training area of the Center for Pedagogical Training and Educational Technology (CFPTE) at the National Technical University of Costa Rica, Alajuela, Costa Rica. It is a diamond open-access, non-commercial academic electronic journal.

Current Issue
This first special edition arises from a collaboration with the Costa Rica Institute of Technology, with the support of Cynthia López Valerio from the Academic Evaluation Office, who served as co-editor. The publication of five extended posters was coordinated, prepared by students from the TEC Computer Engineering program, presenting the results obtained from research conducted in the classroom.
The cover image of this special edition reinforces the thematic coherence with innovation and the transformation of knowledge. It employs a contemporary visual language characteristic of today’s scientific ecosystem and functions as a metaphor for academic production grounded in human–machine collaboration, as it was created by the editor and graphic designer Ana Isabel Hernández González, with assistance from ChatGPT (version 5.2).
