The Student Life Talent Festival project at the Central Campus of the National Technical University was established in 2016 as part of the strategies proposed to consolidate the Recreational Program, whose objective is to provide spaces that promote the human development of the university student community through recreational projects and activities.
Five consecutive years of holding the Festival have contributed to strengthening the sense of belonging and university identity through spaces for student integration, with music, dance, visual arts, literature, among others, serving as the main points of convergence.
In 2020 and 2021, the Festival represented for the student community an opportunity to challenge social distancing caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, since—even in a virtual format—it made it possible to strengthen bonds among students from different degree programs and campuses who wished to showcase their artistic skills and, in doing so, to strengthen themselves as a university community.
