Abstract

This article denounces the marginalization that women have suffered throughout history in many spheres, whether familial, political, or labor-related, which has affected their integrity as individuals.
The generation from the year 2000 onward, when hearing the word terrorism, mostly associates it with extreme violence; however, there is a form of terror that has been present since the beginnings of humanity: the devaluation of women. This type of terror has become increasingly entrenched, authoritarian, domineering, and enslaving, extending into academic, political, social, and economic spheres. Nevertheless, to this day, women continue to fight to free themselves from this terrorism and have been able to explore fields that were historically reserved for men, such as physics, chemistry, astronomy, and engineering.
Likewise, machismo has also silenced women in their emotional and professional growth, that is, in their integrity as individuals, without considering that they are creative and hardworking, capable of contributing to the development of the world through their great abilities. Moreover, it must be acknowledged that, in some countries, it is very difficult for women to advance due to patriarchy and extreme religious models. The oppressor oppresses out of fear of being challenged, subdued, or simply facing strong competition. The economic system that currently dominates the world has served as a springboard for patriarchy to become even stronger, taking advantage of the most dispossessed, the weakest, or those in greatest need.
