The “Leadership Group” project of the Universidad Técnica Nacional (UTN) is a proposal that emerged in 2016 with the purpose of providing a space for the human development of the student community at the Central Campus. Student leadership is the transversal axis through which students’ needs and interests are articulated. From this perspective, topics such as conflict resolution, time management, public speaking techniques, initiative-taking, and leadership in university processes—such as Welcome Week, enrollment and induction for first-year students, Health Day, among others—serve as references and experiences that have strengthened student leadership.
