At present, the learning-centered training process has changed significantly. Traditionally, teachers used the blackboard as the sole means of transmitting knowledge; however, technological advances have facilitated learning by enabling the understanding, discussion, analysis, and drawing of conclusions about various scientific phenomena or formulas that were previously addressed only theoretically, such as in natural sciences and mathematics. This is particularly relevant considering that these subjects often face a certain degree of rejection due to the way they are addressed in curricula, pedagogical mediation, and assessment. Therefore, it is important to incorporate the PhET simulation technological tool into the educational process, as it helps motivate and capture learners’ interest, allows them to compare the results obtained with the theoretical concepts covered in class, and promotes innovative and creative lessons within a playful environment where learning is student-centered.
