Creation of mandalas as a didactic strategy

Currently, education has undergone a transformation. We have moved from a teaching-centered model, in which the teacher instructs and plays the leading role in the educational process, to one in which students are the builders of their own learning.
Within this context, the following pedagogical mediation strategy, called Creation of Mandalas as a Didactic Strategy, is presented. It can be used in different classroom settings in higher education, allowing the teacher as mediator to foster students’ motivation and enjoyment in acquiring new knowledge, skills, competencies, and forms of understanding, both for their professional performance and for life.
